Promoting entrepreneurship in India with skill development in rural India

Promoting the young rural able entrepreneurs is a huge task. But we all know that by the end of it we will certainly achieve growth and progress. But the biggest question lies as to how do we promote rural entrepreneurship and drive more people in taking up industrial projects that will benefit them as well as the community. One of the ways in attaining this is to make the rural entrepreneurs understand the various advantages that will help them reap more benefits. To include some of them are:

  • Tax holidays and related tax advantages
  • Availability of cheap labour
  • Utilising the local resources as raw material
  • Recognition in the local community
  • Employment generation

Another efficient way of promoting rural entrepreneurship is to provide effective training programs just as we do at Heavy groups Skill development. It must be understood by the training institutions that the demands of the rural entrepreneurship is different from the urban and hence it needs a different approach of application. Training encourages and builds the morale of the potential entrepreneurs and hence are extremely important. Other than offering just financial and employment schemes specific target trainings must be encouraged.

Skills Access For India is a skill development platform which identifies rural backward youth of India who are living below poverty line in this project we are identifying youths and giving them skills education for their livelihood and develop entrepreneurship within them

It is observed that most of the rural youth do not consider entrepreneurship as a career choice. This perception can be changed only with effective communication and interaction followed by encouraging tools and methods.
